To do justice to the theme of ‘Celebrating Performance,’ we have sourced stories taking a broader view of ‘Performance’. To begin with, we celebrate the success of ISRO’s Chandrayaan 3 mission, which has made India and all of us at Godrej, proud. Surendra Vaidya, with much effort has condensed his vast knowledge of the Aerospace sector and the mission into an article, which I believe, a lay reader can readily appreciate. Chandrayaan 3 has paved the way for many more such successes in the future. Our E&E business has built a massive order bank through their smart and concerted efforts as well as by executing a strategic shift in their portfolio of LOBs. Raghavendra Mirji describes this journey for us, giving us many insights. Worth a read! Godrej Aerospace won a prestigious order for developing prototypes of an engine for military aircraft. This is a hugely complex task, not yet undertaken by any private sector company. Ramesh, in his article, deals with all the challenges that we have committed to surmount in the Nation’s interest. Kartik Modi dwells on the topic of sustainable performance from the point of view of Business Excellence. His article is full of action points, which if implemented by our businesses, can yield significant benefits. We also celebrate our super achievers for their outstanding individual performances. Their achievements have been shared with us by four of our businesses, namely – E&E, MHE, Security Solutions, and PED. Each super achiever has done something different, which we believe is worth emulating by others in the organization for boosting their own performance. On the Sustainability front, Tejashree shares with us how our businesses pursue Green Co certifications to make their products and processes greener. Two of our businesses have been retaining their Green Co Platinum ratings for years. Also, her article shows the way forward for becoming greener to all manufacturing businesses. Vrunda from Godrej Archives has aptly summarized the talk given by Ms. Tina Staples, Global Head of Archives, HSBC. Ms. Staples shared the highlights of their journey to become one of the most international corporate collections in the world while ensuring its global access.
