As we know, improvements and innovations (i&i) are at the core of the competitiveness of G&B. Enhancing competitiveness is an ongoing endeavour and hence are continual improvements and innovations. In this edition of CHANGE, we present to you some stories of noteworthy improvements and innovations shared with us by our businesses. Ramesh and his team have shared with us stories of i&i culled from G&B’s GRACE and SHRESTHA platforms. These stories are remarkable for the ingenuity brought into play by our people while solving daunting problems. The story of GLAFS’s resounding success in the furniture fittings category is worthy of emulation by other businesses. Thank you, Shyam! Xerxes of Lawkim Motors has shared with us a story of how his team has used the Systematic Inventive Thinking methodology to innovate in a structured manner, which has given Lawkim Motors significant benefits. And yet, another story of innovative thinking is the advertising campaign, “Desh ki Tijori” executed successfully by Pushkar and his team at Godrej Security Solutions. The Government is the largest pier of goods and services in the country.
